Hello, my pretties! ♥

Back in February, I wrote up an article about Milani's Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collection which, at the time, was brand new in the market. I was fortunate enough to receive a generous care package from the company to review, which included the Plum Basics and Smoky Essentials Collections. Since I liked those palettes, I thought it would be a good idea to check out these other 2 mini-collections from Milani and share with you my experience with them. In this post, I am reviewing the Earthy Elements and Must Have Neutral Collections.

Before I get started with this review, I want to clarify that these two palettes were purchased by me. I simply love neutral palettes and thought it would be a good idea to see how they compare to the ones that were sent to me back in February. But, either way - whether I purchase a product or it's sent to me - I always give you my 100% honest opinion. Thought you should know that... ;) Also, in this post, I will mainly focus on eyeshadow performance rather than on the overall product. If you want a more detailed description of the entire product review, then I suggest you check out my previous review of Plum Basics & Smoky Essentials.

I headed over to my local Walgreens and purchased these puppies for $10.49 a piece; however, they had a BOGO 50% off. On the Milani website, they are priced as $9.99 each. Even though they were a bit more expensive at the drugstore, the fact that they were discounted made them cheaper to purchase. And...who can say 'no' to saving money? Not me! So always make sure to check the weekly specials online to see if they have any coupons or sale at the time you're going to purchase them. You may be in luck! ;)

Just like the previous palettes, both Earthy Elements and Must Have Naturals consist of 6 eyeshadows per case, they come with a small dual-ended brush, they are compact and perfect for travel. The colors are expertly coordinated to work with each other no matter what placing or combination you decide on. If you feel a little lost on where to even begin, there is a handy 'How To' guide on the back that gives you some ideas on how to create a look using all eyeshadows. You can, of course, apply some or all of them whichever way you like.

I am always very attracted to neutrals and nudes because, even though they may seem boring, they tend to be very versatile. The fact that everyone's skin color is different and has undertone variations allows for these types of colors to look very unique on every person. These mini-palettes are no exception to the rule. My favorite part about these 2 palettes is that you can combine your favorite colors from both and create your own exclusive nude/neutral combination!

The quality of these eyeshadows is beautiful. They are creamy, pigmented and easy to blend. There is a bit of kick-up when you get product on your brush, but just tapping it off helps remove the excess and avoids fallout. I like to apply all the colors in thin layers and blend as I go. It's easier to apply small amounts at a time and build up from there than to try to remove color.

A word of advice -- I have noticed that my eyes water with the Earthy Elements palette. I don't know what it is, but it has happened every time I use this palette. Since it doesn't bother me that much and I use a cotton swab to soak up the small tears from my outer corner, I just continue to use it. If you think this might be a big issue for you, you may want to think about it before you purchase it. Heck! You may not even have this issue at all! :)

All the eyeshadows look true to color when you swatch them on the skin. The only one that I had issues while swatching was 'Eyeshadow 6' (Black) from the Must Have Naturals palette -- it looked very patchy when I swatched it on my arm with my finger; however, it was buttery and pigmented when I applied it with a brush onto my eyelid and had no problems blending or layering it.

The image below shows a couple of selfies: The one on the left using the Earthy Elements palette and the one on the right using the Must Have Naturals palette. In both instances, I followed the instructions provided on the back of the cases to see how they would look. My favorite of the two is definitely the Must Have Naturals look. Cool neutrals are totally up my alley!

Overall, I am very impressed with the Milani Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collections in Earthy Elements & Must Have Naturals. They are both beautiful, wonderful quality, inexpensive and easy to work with. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for drugstore eyeshadows that are worth the hype.
