Hello, my pretties! ♥

Valentine's Day is this coming Sunday and you'll be in need of some really cute makeup looks to get you through the most romantic day of the year. No matter whether your date is during the day or night or if it's a date with your significant other or friends or family, this is a special day to celebrate all the people you love. Plus, it's always good to have an outfit & makeup plan. Milani Cosmetics has your back!

They were kind enough to send me some products from their new Spring 2016 line already available wherever Milani Cosmetics is sold. I thought it would be a great idea to do a couple of makeup looks using nothing but these products. So, if you're interested in a couple of ideas, just keep reading for a full breakdown of the products used. Enjoy!

DAYTIME SMOKEY EYES

BASE
I prepped my skin with my favorite moisturizer, then applied Prime Shield Mattifying + Pore-Minimizing Face Primer to make sure the surface of my face was even and matte. Then, I applied my favorite BB cream because I wanted to keep my skin looking fresh and not entirely covered up since it was a daytime look. I set everything with my favorite loose powder to make sure nothing moved throughout the day.

EYES
Since all the eyeshadows used for this look were dark, a great eye primer was needed. I used Milani's Eyeshadow Primer -- it's my favorite drugstore primer and it does a great job! Afterwards, I applied Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection in Smoky Neutrals. I simply followed the instructions on the back of the case, but kept my hand quite light and blended everything very well to make sure the eyes didn't look heavy. Then, I applied a very thin line on my top lashline with the eyeliner in the Eye Tech Define 2-in-1 Brow + Eyeliner Felt-Tip Pen in Medium Brown/Black. After curling my lashes, I applied one coat of Big & Bigger Lashes Maximum Volume Mascara, then a thin coat of Length in Seconds Lash Extension Fibers and, lastly, a 2nd coat of mascara over the fibers. I made sure to brush out the fibers with a clean spoolie to prevent lumps & distribute fibers evenly.  I wanted the eye look to be a bit more feminine, so I added a pair of my favorite false lashes for maximum effect.

BROWS
My brows are very sparse and they need to be filled in to look decent, so I did that with a pencil. I simply filled the areas that needed it most - center & tail of brow. Then, I used Easybrow Tinted Fiber Gel in Medium Brown to set the brows in place.

FACE
No crazy contouring and highlighting was needed. I loosely applied some bronzer to my face in the areas the sun would naturally touch for a sunkissed look. Then, applied a very soft highlight to the cheeks and tip of the nose to bring those features forward. Lastly, I applied Rose Powder Blush in Flora Passion to the apples of the cheeks for a flush of color.

LIPS
Since I wanted the eyes to be the stars of the show, I kept the lip color very minimal. Lately, my lips have been extra chapped from a cold I've had for the past few days. I've been using Moisture Lock Oil-Infused Lip Treatment in Healing Lemon Honey to help with the lack of moisture. I use this lip treatment whenever I start my beauty routine to make sure my lips are moisturized by the time I apply my lip crème. For the actual lip color, I applied Color Statement Lipliner in Nude very lightly to the edges of the lips. My lips rarely bleed color, but it's always better to prevent. To fill in the color, I applied Amore Matte Lip Crème in Adorable.

And voilà, that's the entire Daytime Smokey Eye Look!

SOFT & SULTRY GLAM

BASE
I prepped my skin with my favorite moisturizer, then applied Prime Shield Mattifying + Pore-Minimizing Face Primer to make sure the surface of my face was even and matte. Then, I applied my favorite full-coverage foundation. After, I applied concealer only to the areas that needed it (small blemishes, discoloration, etc.). Last, I set everything with my favorite loose powder to make sure nothing moved throughout the day.

EYES
Before starting the eye look, I applied Eyeshadow Primer to make sure all the eyeshadows look vivid on the lids. Then, I applied Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection in Plum Basics by following the instructions on the back of the case. Make sure to blend every step, so it looks flawless when you're done. Then, I applied a semi-thick cat eye with the eyeliner in the Eye Tech Define 2-in-1 Brow + Eyeliner Felt-Tip Pen in Medium Brown/Black. Once that was in place and after giving my lashes a good curl, I applied a coat of Big & Bigger Lashes Maximum Volume Mascara, then a thin coat of Length in Seconds Lash Extension Fibers. Lastly, I applied a 2nd coat of the same mascara. I made sure to brush out the fibers with a clean spoolie to prevent lumps & distribute fibers evenly. I applied my favorite pair of false lashes to make the eyes look more open, elegant and flirty.

BROWS
For this look, I wanted a super defined eyebrow. I used a pencil to fill in the sparse areas all over. Then, drew a line under and over the center & tail to create a very strong look with the brow liner of the Eye Tech Define 2-in-1 Brow + Eyeliner Felt-Tip Pen in Medium Brown/Black. Once that was dry, I applied Easybrow Tinted Fiber Gel in Medium Brown to set the brow hairs in place and brush any excess product off.

FACE
I contoured, bronzed and highlighted because I wanted a very structured face (choose whatever products you like for this step). Then, I applied Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose to add more romanticism to the face.

LIPS
Prior to doing any color on the lips, I applied Moisture Lock Oil-Infused Lip Treatment in Revitalizing Grapefruit to make sure the lips were moisturized before applying the lip crème since it's a bit drying. Once I felt my lips were moisturized enough, I removed the product with a baby wipe gently. I applied Color Statement Lipliner in Spice just outside the lip area to create the illusion of a much fuller lip, then filled my lips in with Amore Matte Lip Crème in Precious.

That completes the Soft & Sultry Glam Makeup Look!
