Hello, my pretties! ♥

My favorite drugstore brand, Milani Cosmetics has released the Amore Matte Lip Crèmes!
Originally, they had released a limited edition collection back in Fall 2015; however, after seeing how popular they were & how fast they flew off the shelves, Milani decided to create a permanent collection of lip crèmes. Well... I was fortunate enough to receive 4 out of the 18 shades! And because some of you are curious, I swatched them all and did mini-reviews to give you some info. So, if you're interested in these beautiful & fun lippies, keep reading! ;)

The Amore Matte Lip Crèmes have officially been released on the Milani website, but are set to be available in-stores at the end of January 2016. These lip crèmes have a revolutionary, highly-saturated liquid-to-matte formula that dries to a soft, velvet/matte finish that help your lips look fuller and plump. It comes with a double-sided, flexible, plush applicator that allow the color to apply boldly and opaque. Also, these are super long-wearing and transfer-resistant. I want to point out that these new lip crèmes have been reformulated from the original limited edition ones.

Amore Matte Lip Crèmes retail for $8.99 each wherever Milani Cosmetics are sold. They will be available in 18 shades: Adorable, Precious, Loved, Craze, Devotion, Gorgeous, Sweetheart, Fancy, Obsession, Covet, Sugar, Flame, Amore, Babe, Cherish, Allure, Fling and Fascination. As of the time of this post, there are only 10 shades available on the website (the ones in bold) and no news as to when the rest of them will be released or what colors they are.

Now, let's move on to the swatches...

Nude Brown
Milani Cosmetics Amore Matte Lip Crèmes LOVED | iheartoffbeat
This is a gorgeous nude-ish brown that is perfect for anyone. I love how it still wears like a nude but has more color to it as well as warmth. This particular shade applies very opaque and even. Loved is quite pigmented and one single coat will be enough to get the color down on the lips.
Grade: A

Bright Coral
Milani Cosmetics Amore Matte Lip Crèmes CRAZE | iheartoffbeat
This color cannot be more stunning! Even though I'm not exactly a bright lip color wearer, I really find this coral absolutely divine. The application leaves something to be desired, however. It's thinner than other lip crèmes I've tried and it applies a bit streaky. Luckily, Craze is buildable and won't crumble when you apply a second layer. Definitely a fun color for the Spring & Summer!
Grade: B

Bright Fuchsia
Milani Cosmetics Amore Matte Lip Crèmes SWEETHEART | iheartoffbeat
Speaking of Spring & Summer, here's another great color that will be perfect during the warmer seasons: Sweetheart is a very pretty bright fuchsia. I don't particularly love myself in pink lipstick, but I definitely like the color. Out of all the colors swatched from this collection, this was the one that applied the most streaky and was the thinnest. I found it slightly difficult to work with but it's buildable; therefore, no issues that a couple extra coats couldn't fix.
Grade: C-

Vampy Brown
Milani Cosmetics Amore Matte Lip Crèmes COVET | iheartoffbeat
Oh-mah-gherd! Behold my upcoming chola days! I am lusting all over the most perfect chocolate brown that Covet is! I can't get enough of it. It's very pigmented, applies like a dream, no patchiness, and appears velvety on the lips.  It's my favorite out of these 4 swatches.
Grade: A+

Despite the fact that they have been reformulated to be slightly thinner, they still wear beautifully and are long-lasting. One other thing I noticed is that these new permanent lippies are a bit harder to take off than the originals. You will need a more oily makeup remover in order to completely get them off. I just use a couple of olive oil drops and they work like magic. Also, just like the limited edition lip crèmes, these stay put for a long time but feel a bit more dry on the lips than a regular lipstick.

Overall, I really liked the new Amore Matte Lip Crèmes and recommend them to anyone wanting to try them out. I think they are a good investment considering price, quality, longevity and color selection. Great job, Milani!
