Hello, my pretties!

In my last blog post, I shared with you my experience and thoughts on ColourPop Cosmetics. This time, I want to share with you all the products I used and how I used them to create this makeup look. I called it Classy Glam because that is exactly what it is! A classy makeup look that is perfect for times when you want to look a little more glamorous without feeling like you caked on piles of makeup. If you want to recreate this makeup look, just pull out your Super Shock Shadows & let's play! ♥

EYES
Before you get started with your eyeshadows, make sure to prep by using your favorite primer. These eyeshadows have an unusual cream-to-powder consistency, so prep is important. I have oily eyelids, so I always make sure to use an eye primer.

After my primer, use an eyeshadow that is one to two shades lighter than your own skintone all over the eye area. This step prevents the rest of the eyeshadows from looking muddy or patchy. Once your primer & base shadow are done, it's time to move to the Super Shock Shadows.

ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Shadows → I applied the eyeshadows in the following order:

Hanky Panky. Apply with a large fluffy brush just above the crease in windshield wiper motions. This is the transition color that will allow other colors to create a seamless gradient.

Bill. Apply with a smaller blending brush directly on the crease to give it some depth and help deepen Hanky Panky you just applied.

Girly. Apply with a flat synthetic brush all over the mobile lid and the inner corner to create a lighter area and add some sheen.

I ♥ This. Apply with your fingertips onto your eyelids. Yes, you read that right... Your fingertips! You won't believe how much more vibrant this eyeshadow will come off when you apply it this way! It's also a lot easier to blend when you apply it with your ring or pinky fingers. It will add all sorts of beautiful super sparkly shimmer and glitter that isn't chunky.

Truth. Apply with a pencil brush onto the lower lashline to add a bit of color. Also, add a bit of Bill with the same brush to create a more elongated eye effect on the outer corner.

Because I wanted to create a bit more depth to this look, I added a touch of dark brown eyeshadow onto the outer corner of the eye (top & bottom). This created a bit more darkness and a more extended eye shape. Obviously, if you're happy with the colors as they are, you don't need this step.

Lastly, I added a medium-sized line onto the top eyelid, curled my lashes, added mascara and applied falsies.

LIPS
Make sure to prep your lips with your preferred lip balm when you prep your skin. This will ensure that your lips will be soft and the color will apply smoothly.

I love this particular look for bridesmaids or for quinceañeras because it's super easy to do. It looks young & fresh. As always, this is just an idea on how to apply the products. You can adjust this makeup look to your needs or wants with whatever you have on hand or these specific products from ColourPop Cosmetics.
