Kylie Jenner-Inspired Makeup (Drugstore Products ONLY!)

Lately, I have been OBSESSING over Kylie Jenner's beautiful makeup look! It's super young, fresh, clean & perfect for summer. LOVE IT! ♥

I am not one to jump on the bandwagon just because...BUT you guys know I am a sucker  for natural & pretty looks that make facial features stand out and this is exactly  what Kylie's makeup does - she looks polished & put-together but it also makes her look young & playful. And who doesn't want that?!

Now, I do not  claim or think or pretend I look anything  like Kylie; however, I do sincerely admire her style and uniqueness. As much as I love the Kardashian/Jenner clan, I feel as though they can be a little cookie-cutter at times; therefore, seeing Kylie grow up into her own unique style & sense of self, makes me very happy! ☺ Khloé & Kylie are definitely my two favorites out of the whole bunch.

I decided to recreate this look using nothing but drugstore products to make it affordable for everyone and to show you that you can  make any look happen with whatever you have on hand. This is the image I posted onto my Instagram:

My Instagram recreation of Kylie's
makeup look

The lip is totally what makes this look special: It's a darker warm matte nude lip color that has been drawn outside the natural lines to create the illusion of a much plumper lip. In the picture above, the lip color looks a little off (too pink) because of the lighting in my bedroom at that moment. Below you can see a much  better picture of the makeup in natural light while we were in the car. Also, please keep in mind my skin is a lot older than hers and it's not as smooth + I have no idea what the heck  is going on but I have been breaking out a lot lately. Ugh, dumb suck!

So without anything further, here's the breakdown of all the products used to achieve this Kylie Jenner-inspired makeup look. Enjoy!

• Simple Nourishing 24 HR Day/Night Cream, mixed with 1 pump of...
• Perlier Honey Royal Gold Elixir. Apply all over the face & neck with my fingers.
• Avon ANEW Reversalist Complete Renewal Express Wrinkle Smoother as a face primer on my t-zone & cheeks.
• Benefit Cosmetics Some Kind-a Gorgeous Cream-To-Powder Foundation in Medium  applied with my middle and ring fingers only on the areas where I had some discoloration, then blended with my Beauty Blender to push into the skin. I didn't go heavy with foundation to create a more natural look.

• NYX Cosmetics Slim Eye Pencil in Taupe  to fill my brows lightly, then brushed with a spoolie to get rid of any excess wax.
• MAC Cosmetics Eye Shadow in Brun  to set the pencil in place, then brushed with the spoolie once again to distribute product properly & set brow into place.

• Wet n Wild Beauty Fergie Center Stage Collection Take On The Day Eye Primer all over the lid up to the brow.
• Wet n Wild Beauty Walking The Red Carpet Palette [Limited Edition]. Applied Browbone  (Off-White with Micro-Glitter, right) all over the lid up to the brow with a large flat brush. Applied Eyelid  (Pale Taupe, left) onto the crease with a large fluffy brush to act as my blending color. Applied Crease  (True Taupe, left) with the same brush onto my crease to deepen the color a bit & to the bottom lashline to add a very light definition. Applied Definer  (Café Brown with Gold Micro-Glitter, right) onto the crease with a medium fluffy brush to warm up the color & give it a bit more definition. ***Special Note: If you do not have this Limited Edition palette, don't worry! You can use any neutral palette to achieve this look. If you want to buy this particular palette, I suggest you check eBay for availability. I have seen several vendors selling it in there.
• L'Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Carbon Black  to the top lashline to create the illusion of fuller lashes.
• L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black  after curling my lashes & before applying falsies. Once I put on falsies, I applied Voluminous Power Volume 24H Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black  to blend them together with my real ones.
• Sum!ta Beauty Color Intense Eyeliner in Kala Black  [Limited Edition] on the top waterline only to get rid of the flesh-colored line under the lashes. I let it dry & set before I apply...
• Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude to the bottom waterline to open up the eyes.
• MAC Cosmetics Eye Shadow in Brun to the outer corners of lower lashline for added definition.
• Red Cherry False Lashes in #48 (on Kylie's image, it looks as though she is wearing WSP (Wispies). I didn't have any on hand so I used 48's, which are a little more structured).

• Maybelline FIT Me Concealer in 10 Light  under the eyes, on the bridge of the nose, around the nose, on the chin, and center of the forehead.
• Purely Cosmetics Diamond Perfect Finish wherever I applied concealer to set it & on the rest of the face to finish the makeup.
• Sonia Kashuk Bronzer Blush Duo in 51 Glimmer.  Applied the Bronzer  under the cheekbones, under the jaw, sides of the nose, temples & hairline lightly to create a natural contour. Then, I also applied it very lightly right above the crease color on my eye for added glow & warmth. Lastly, applied the Blush  to the apples of the cheeks sweeping back towards the hairline lightly, then applied...
• Sacha Cosmetics Blush in Rose Glow  on top of it to add a bit more glow to the cheeks.
• Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Beige Pearl  as a highlight on the top of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and chin.
• NYX Cosmetics Makeup Setting Spray in Dewy Finish  to set all the makeup into place and give it a more natural look.

• NYX Cosmetics Slim Lip Pencil in Mauve  to line my lips. Make sure to line your lips just outside their natural lip line to create a fuller look.
• Milani Cosmetics Color Statement Lipliner in 03 Nude to fill in the lips completely.
*** Quick Tip:  Apply a lip balm before all of these steps to make sure your lips are well-moisturized before you do this particular step. Also, if you want to make this lip color a bit warmer, you can use both NYX & Milani's Lip Pencils in the color Natural.

I hope you found this product breakdown helpful. Thank you for reading & until next time...

Much love & light,
