#LALLBLOG14 Kick-Off VIP Party @ BĂ©same Cosmetics {Photo Heavy} [Part 1]

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share with you a really amazing event I had the opportunity to attend this week: The #LALLBLOG14 Kick-Off VIP Party at the BĂ©same Cosmetics Flagship Boutique in Burbank, CA.

This event was to launch the 4th Annual Lifestyle Bloggers Conference that's happening this weekend here in Los Angeles. I actually didn't know anything about BĂ©same Cosmetics, so I did a bit of research before going to the party and oh-my-gosh I was so glad I did!! This cosmetics brand is all about vintage-inspired luxury cosmetics that remind us all of the great quality and beautiful designs old cosmetics were known for back in the day.

BĂ©same Cosmetics products are made in small batches and they offer makeup that is truly  classic. You can see that Gabriela Hernández, owner, has a passion for her brand and is very involved in the design and execution of every single item. Make sure to check out their website to see all the products they offer!

And now, let's indulge in some really awesome vintage coolness and wonderful goodies! Be prepared, I have a LOT of pictures in this blog post ☺

I love how even the entry sign was so vintage!
The BĂ©same greeter

The entire store is full of really inpiring details!

These were some really beautiful paintings inspired by Clara Bow (1920s), Carole Lombard (1930s), and Rita Hayworth (1940s) displayed at the BĂ©same Cosmetics showroom.

FOTN - Simple, clean & glowy.

For this event, I decided on my go-to look with defined brows & eyes; no falsies, just lots of mascara. I added tons of glow to the face with the highlight & a shimmery blush. And for the lips, I kept it simple with really glossy lips.

As you can see from these images, BĂ©same Cosmetics does carry the vintage feel of the 40s & 50s all throughout their boutique. It's like you are traveling back in time! Their shoppe is so unique ♥

The entire BĂ©same Cosmetics lipstick line!

I swatched some of the colors and they were all super  pigmented, creamy & luxurious. These lipsticks are modern reproductions of the classic makeup from the 20s, 30s, 40s & 50s and come in 15 different gorgeous shades: They range from warm nudes to vivid corals to vibrant reds to luscious berries.

Mural at the back of the BĂ©same Cosmetics store

This lovely mural was all the way in the back of the store. It was hand-painted by Melinda Hernández, Gabriela's 12 year-old daughter, who is also the face of BĂ©same Insider. Make sure to watch the videos for some really interesting facts about the brand!

Sweet & delicious treats from Pure Sweetery

We were also treated to some of Pure Sweetery's delicious Oven Creations. If you are into gluten-free & dairy-free foods, I highly  recommend you check them out! They had 3 different treats for us to try out: Almondella (Almond), Nudella (Hazelnut Cacao), and Kyoto (Japanese Green Tea).

I honestly wanted to engulf all  of their Nudella oven treats! They were sweet, fluffy, and absolutely delicious!!

More goodness from Pure Sweetery

Pure Sweetery also brought with them some unbelievable yummy Raw Creations: Sexy (Berries & Pomegranate) and  Rock'n Raw (Avocado Chocolate). These frozen treats were super soft & flavorful.

I have a super sweet  tooth and knowing that these treats from Pure Sweetery were not just sweet & delicious but also health-conscious & guilt-free was an absolute plus!

Sticker & coaster from Triple Voodoo

Some of Triple Voodoo's delicious beers for sampling

OK. I love my beer. What can I say? So, when I saw that Triple Voodoo was in the house, I knew had to try it! I always approach beer with no expectations. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not-so-good. BUT I am pleased to report, this brewery is knocking it out of the park ! It was wonderfully delicious.

Triple Voodoo brought King Leopold (Belgian Stout), 8 Tentacles (Imperial IPA), and Inception (Belgian Style Ale). I stayed away from 8 Tentacles - not a huge fan of really hoppy beers - but I did try Inception and King Leopold. They were great! I definitely recommend you guys to make a pit stop at their Tap Room in San Francisco CA when you make a trip up there ☺

Goodie Bag! ♥

Our goodie bags were jam-packed with amazing products from these sponsors: Cafe Cola, BĂ©same Cosmetics, Nail Garden, RADIUS Toothbrush, Paulina Rubio for JustFab, Triple Voodoo Brewery & Taproom, TCBY, ShopHouse Kitchen, Sum!ta Beauty, and Youtheory. I am very grateful for all these brands that provided us with all these wonderful items. I'm definitely excited to try them out! ☺

Youtheory by Nutrawise Revive supplements

By the way, the reason why the Youtheory Revive isn't with the rest of the goodies is because I have actually been trying it out since the day after we received them. I have noticed results with my energy levels and improvement in my mood (thank goodness because I have been extra cranky lately with this cold that won't leave me alone!). It's still early on for me to give you a full review, but I'll definitely keep you guys updated as time goes on.

Signature Collectable Metal Mini Compact
Look how tiny it is!! ♥

On top of all the wonderful goodies we received, I simply could not  resist buying this mini compact! It was so beautiful and teeny tiny that I had to have it in my life. Now, I am so obsessed with it!! ♥ Aside from being extra cute, I love that it's so vintage and feminine. I'm very excited to try out the Cashmere Violet Powder that came with it as well as the Powder Foundation in Light  refill.

Stay tuned for my next post about my #LALLBLOG14 experience. It was not only educational but truly inspirational!

I hope you are all doing well! I'm here sending you all lots of love and light...
