Review :: LORAC Pro To Go Palette {Press Sample}

Disclosure: I have received a free sample of this product from LORAC Cosmetics
for review/use in conjunction with this blog post. All opinions are my own.

A few months ago, I was invited to BeautyCon 2013 Industry Night in Los Angeles (if you want to learn a bit more about it, click HERE!). There were tons of companies there that provided us with some great goodies to check out and review; one of them was LORAC Cosmetics, which is one of the biggest and most respected companies in the industry. I was given the LORAC PRO To Go Palette during the BeautyCon Industry Night event.

I intended to review this product sooner; however, I don't know what happened to the original pictures I took. I ended up having to bite the bullet and take new pictures of my already used palette, so please forgive the state in which my poor little palette is in. This has been a well-used and well-loved palette, hence the powdery look it has in every single image. I hope you don't mind...

But, enough about me crying over old pictures. Let's get into the review! ☺

LORAC PRO To Go Palette

Company claims, "Go PRO with LORAC! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 3 Shimmer & 3 Matte Eye Shadows, 2 Blushes, a Bronzer, and 2 Brushes - Everything you need to look glamorous on the go. LORAC's velvety-smooth shadows and blushes are ultra-pigmented and packed with long-lasting PRO power so you can easily shade, line and define your eyes and color & contour your cheeks. Just like a PRO!

Price point?
The palette is $38. I think this is an amazing  price for it! It will replace a bunch of different products, all in one simple container.

Where can you find it?
You can find this palette on loraccosmetics.com. I no longer see it on the Sephora & Ulta websites; however, I still have seen it sold in stores. I suggest you give your local store a call & see if they still have it available before you take a trip there.

How is the packaging?
The packaging is made of cardboard wrapped in the same leathery material the LORAC Pro Palette is in (you can see the review HERE!). My favorite part is the innovative way in which this palette can go from large to small with just a few easy steps -it folds onto itself in order to become compact and easy-to-store for travel. It's super convenient!

What does this palette include?
This palette includes 6 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and a bronzer. It also comes with 2 small travel-size brushes: a semi-flat shader brush & an angled brush. As you can see from the image below, this is a complete face makeup palette.

What colors does it include?

{Bottom Row}
Shell - Bone/Off White (Matte)
Café - Soft Medium Reddish Brown (Matte)

2 Blushes:
Coral - Soft Pinky Coral (Shimmer)
Pink - Cool Medium Pink (Matte)

1 Bronzer:
Bronze - Warm Bronze (Matte)

Blushes & Bronzer

How is the finish & texture?
The finishes are a perfect combination of mattes & shimmers on both the eyes & face products. The colors are vivid, pigmented & are super easy to blend! Also, the fact that they feature a matte bronzer for contouring = perfection in my eyes!!

Swatches of entire palette.
Natural Light. No Flash. No Primer.

Are there any cons?
The packaging, although travel-friendly, is a bit on the bulky side. Also over time, it collects powder with use and tends to look a little dirty.

What are your overall thoughts?
I think it's the perfect travel palette that can take care of all your needs while on the go. It's easy to use, has perfect blendability, and the combination of mattes & shimmers on the right colors is wonderful.

Another thing that I love is that this palette is very versatile as far as how it can be used. You can use Bronze as an additional eyeshadow or Pearl & Chai as highlights depending on your skin tone, of course. You can create just about any makeup look your little heart desires without having to carry tons of products to achieve it.

Overall, I love this palette! Hope you found this review helpful & that you all are doing great! I send you lots of love & light.

'Til next time...

xoxo♥
